TeamKP in the medals at the Australian Para-Cycling National Championships

Kangaroo Point Cycling Club congratulates Australia's second fastest MC4 Para-athlete, TeamKP's Ben Ellen on a successful campaign at the 2013 Cycling Australia Para-Cycling Nationals.

It was a challenging weekend of racing, with cool temperatures and some tough competition!

Ben put in a strong ride to earn a Silver Medal in the 26km Individual Time Trial with a time of 43:27 at an average speed of 36.55km/h, down just 2:35 from first place and a huge 5:04 ahead of third place.  Ben backed this up with another strong ride to earn another Silver, down by only 0.7 seconds in a thrilling final sprint after 2:30hrs of racing on the 85km course!

This makes Ben our latest addition to the Club Honour Roll!

TeamKP delivers the goods at the QLD State Masters Track Championship

It was a big weekend for Kangaroo Point Cycling Club at the Track Masters, with a team of 8 riders combining to take home 9 Medals (2 Gold, 1 Silver & 6 Bronze) and set 2 new State Records.

TeamKP dominates at the QSMracing Brisbane Blast

It was a successful return to racing on the iconic Southbank course for TeamKP with 15 club members competing across the 6 races.  Kieran earned a 1st in Elite C, Adam a 2nd in Masters C and Cameron a 3rd in Elite C.

Our thanks to QSMracing for headline sponsorship of this well run and professional event.  It was an honour to roll the TeamKP green, white and black on our home territory and do the club proud!

TeamKP on show at the 2013 Toowoomba Two Day

Presented jointly by the Toowoomba Cycling Club, Club Bikeline and Highfields Rollers- the Toowomba Two Day featured 4 TeamKP riders competing in the event with a 3 member support crew.

New year, new website!

We are pleased to be launching our new website to kick off what we hope will be another fantastic year for the club.  

The website features a graphic interface, new ways for us to communicate with our visitors, and a new members only section to be launched in a few short weeks.  Importantly the site will help us with our focus on increasing visitor numbers by helping us to push current, graphic and interesting content through our social media channels.

TeamKP does the Rapha Festive 500

The Rapha Festive 500 is an annual challenge set by our friends at Rapha to ride 500km between Christmas Eve and New Years Eve.  

The challenge attracts thousands of riders from around the world, and TeamKP fielded a strong team to take on the challenge.  We invited ourselves along for the ride with Claire from TeamKP.​
