2019 Cunningham Classic Volunteers Required!
Please provide your details if you can volunteer for the 2019 Cunningham Classic on Saturday 3 August. We need approximately 100 volunteers to run the event.

This will be the 37th edition of the upperlimb.com Cunningham Classic, the toughest and most prestigious one day road race in Queensland. Hosted by KPCC, it is a point to point road race from Gatton to Warwick which this year will be run on Saturday 3rd August.

The race starts from Lake Apex Park, Gatton with 350-400 riders across 11 groups with the A grade elite men riding 171km from Gatton to Warwick via Clifton, Leyburn, Allora and finish in Warwick.

All other grades race the 96km route from Gatton to Warwick via Pilton and Allora. This includes 4 womens grades.

To run this wonderful event we need your help and that of your family and friends. It's fun to be involved and you will receive lots of support so you know what to do on the day.

- Spares Vehicle Drivers (Aug 3: 7.30am - 2.30pm)
- Sweep/Sag Wagon Drivers (Aug 3: 7.30am - 3.00pm)
- Commissaire Scribes (Aug 3: 7.30am - 2.30pm)
- Support Passenger Volunteers (Aug 3: 7.30am - 2.30pm)
- Gatton Start Village Volunteers (Aug 3: 7.00am - 11.00am)
- Warwick Finish Village Volunteers (Aug 3: 10.00am - 3.00pm)

Kangaroo Point Cycling Club is a Membership based organisation that relies on the contribution of its Members as Volunteers to operate the Club and deliver its large range of activities.

Members contribute their time to the Club through a range of Volunteering opportunities including:

  • The Club's Patron and Vice Patrons positions;

  • The Club's Management Committee including its President, Treasurer, Secretary and Management Committee Member positions;

  • The Club's Coaching Team;

  • The Club's Commissaire Team;

  • The roles of Club Captains, Club Quartermaster, Club Mentors and RIde Leaders;

  • The Club's Sub-Committees including the Track Carnival, Cunningham Classic, Brisbane Kermesse, and Marketing & Communications Sub-Committees;

  • The Club's Initiative Champions including the Club Track Championships, Club Criterium Championships, Club Criterium Training Program, KPCC Skills Program coordinators;

  • Event Delivery Teams that help us deliver our big carnivals and events throughout South-East Queensland through operating our canteen, staffing our registration desk, commentating, managing our traffic control, coordinating our presentations and cleaning up after everyone else has left.
